Well here we are in glorious New York rain, rain ,rain. We had a dry day last week and went to Niagara Falls,Canada what a disappointment. No free parking paid $3.25 to cross into Canada parking cost anywhere from $10.00 to $18.00. So back to USA. Pictures are of Niagara from US side. Also went to Lockport where the Erie Canal goes thru.

While in Pa. we went to Johnstown where the famous Johnstown Flood occured in the late 1800's.The pictures are of a home that was up the hill from where the dam that caused the flood occured. Behind the dam was a lake that totally disappeared with a wall of water almost 60 ft high that wiped out the town of Johnstown with over 2,000 dead as a result If you look on the internet under google Johnstown Flood. there are several pictures of the aftermath of the flood.
While we were in Pa. we visited Flight 93 memorial very moving They are renovating the site as they made it a national park site. They were in the process of building a visitor center. At this point in time you cannt approach the spot where the plane went down but will have a road and path going arount the impact site.
