Another day another town.We arrived at Styx River and went down to Gulf Shores to see if they had recovered from previous hurricanes.Looks like everything is back to normal. The coast is wall to wall high rise condos didn't take any pictures of gulf coast.Took a tour of Mobile and took some pictures of various homes.

We went to an area called Laural Valley which is south of New Orleans where there are several plantations including the one where Bre'r Rabbit was taken from (uncle Remus). Also an area where the remains of a plantation exists.With 60+ slave quarter housing remains at one point they were used as a WWII camp for German POW'S.

We went back to New Orleans yesterday and took a tour of New Orleans we covered much of the city.We covered the devastated area better than we could do on our own we got to see the area that was being renovated by Harry Connick Jr for the musicians in the area. Also several unusual designs being built by Brad Pitt,We also covered the Garden District and went to the same cemetery that we went to the day before on our own

We are in Abita Springs,La. Went to New Orleans yesterday and visited the above ground cemetery at St. Louis Cemetery #3 and the garden district and the 9th Ward where Katrina hit
